Seagate does not want to be left behind and has launched its IronWolf 510, an M.2 2280 SSD for NAS. Inside, we tell you its variants and performance.
It seemed strange to us that Seagate had not participated in the race for M.2 SSD hard drives. However, that is over and the brand launches an M.2 SSD called IronWolf 510, whose destination is the NAS. Its performance is excellent and can be great news for this market, which is dominated by just over 4-5 brands.
Seagate IronWolf 510 NVMe SSD: The Wolf Strikes Back
Without a doubt, this is good news for a sector in which the competition is distributed to few brands. It is true that the Seagate IronWolf 510 NVMe is not a desktop hard drive, but a NAS. Likewise, it offers a sequential read speed of 3, 150 MB / s, which is quite good. Also, it supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and NVMe 1.3.
