NVIDIA will bring its gaming and PC development expertise to assist the advanced features of Shadow of the Tomb Raider to the technical level. This effort will help maximize the performance benefits of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series GPUs for PC gamers worldwide. This continues the collaboration that started in the previous title, Rise of the Tomb Raider.
We don't have any specific details about the NVIDIA GameWorks features that will be used in the game yet. However, as a reminder, the previous installment (Rise of the Tomb Raider) already featured the VXAO and HBAO + options.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on September 14 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, by preordering you can play it two days before. In this new installment, Lara's adventure will take us through jungle lands and ancient temples, with a darker and more sinister setting.
