The first store that Apple will have in South Korea will open its doors to the public tomorrow, Saturday, January 27, and, before an event like this, long-awaited by fans of the firm, occurs, the company has shared a few photos showing the new location.

The first Apple store in South Korea

Apple Garosugil (this is how the brand's first store will be officially named in South Korea) is located in the exclusive shopping area of the same name, Garosugil, in the heart of the famous Gangnam district in Seoul. The store, which rises south of the Han River, has an enormous glass facade and a line of trees in the store that aim to blur the separation between the store and the street where it is located.

"We are delighted to open a new home for our customers in the vibrant city of Seoul and look forward to continuing to grow in Korea, " said Angela Ahrendts, Apple's senior vice president of Retail. "Our stores are meeting places for the community where everyone can connect, learn and create."

Like all other stores the company has, Apple Garosugil will offer a wide variety of free daily workshops for visitors focused on photography, music, art, design, programming, and more. Each of these sessions will be led by a Creative Pro and will take place in the so-called "forum", an area of the Apple Store where a dynamic 6K video wall is also located, as already offered in many of the Company retail stores worldwide.

Apple has stated that the new store will include its full line of products along with a selected collection of accessories that will be located in the "Avenues" or exhibition areas where customers can interact with the products.

Currently, Apple has 499 stores spread across much of the world, not counting Apple Watch boutiques or the closed Simi Valley store. Therefore, the Apple Garosugil store will be Apple's 500th retail store.
