Silicon power announces ssds slim s80 series
Silicon Power has announced the new series of Slim S80 SSDs available with capacities up to 960 GB and designed to be fully compatible with the new ultra-thin notebooks thanks to a thickness of 7 mm instead of the usual 9.5 mm.
These SSDs have the usual SATA 3 to 6 Gbps interface and mount a Phison controller. The Slim S80 series offers transfer speeds of up to 550 MB / s / 530 MB / s in read and write in ATTO respectively and its 4K random read and write performance reaches 80, 000 IOPS.
They have a weight of only 67 grams and offer great resistance to shocks and vibrations. The Slim S80 series will consist of 32, 60, 120, 240, 480 and 960 GB capacity models and have a 3-year warranty.
