It is known that SSDs in M.2 format usually generate quite a lot of heat, and although many models come with a heatsink already installed, it is possible that the one you want to use does not bring it. For these cases SilverStone has released its TP02-M2 Cooling Kit for units of this type.

SilevrStone thinks about cooling SSDs with the TP02-M2 kit

The SilverStone TP02-M2 is a heatsink that is added to any M.2 format SSD, improving the temperatures at which it is working and adding longer life.

SilverStone's new TP02-M2 cooling kit uses an aluminum alloy heat sink to increase the cooling area. Like any other heat sink, two different thickness thermal pads are included to enhance work.

The TP02-M2 is designed for 2280 SSD modules, which means those of you who own 22110 drives will not be able to use this kit. Even so, the 2280 format is right now the most widely used by far.

Outstanding Features

  • Aluminum alloy heatsink increases the cooling surface M. 2 SSD Efficient heat conduction pad to reduce the temperature Double layer design improves SSD cooling for more stability and efficiency Easy to apply and fix with silicone bands without damaging the SSD drive

Pricing and availability

SilverStone's new TP02-M2 M.2 cooling kit will be available from February 27 in Europe. It will not be long to have it in stores and the price seems quite. It has a suggested price of 8.90 euros.
