Finally Sony has released the first long-promised MediEvil Remake trailer, the re-creation of Sir Daniel Fortesque's original adventure that will be better than ever thanks to the help of the latest technology.

Medievil Remake looks amazing in his first trailer, Sir Daniel Fortesque is back

Thanks to products like the PlayStation Classic, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro Reignited, nostalgia for the original PlayStation is at its peak right now, and there are no signs of slowing down, especially for most MediEvil fans. The original game was released in 1998 and was developed by the late Cambridge Guerilla and the creator of James Pond. It got a sequel and a new version of PSP, but this new remake is a new version with all the benefits of 4K that the PlayStation 4 Pro offers.

MediEvil follows the story of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a champion who had an unfortunate end on the battlefield. He receives a chance for redemption when his nemesis, the evil sorcerer Lord Zarok, accidentally resurrects 100 years after that fateful day. Lord Zarok seeks to conquer the Kingdom of Gallowmere, and only the skeleton Sir Daniel Fortesque stands between Zarok's undead army and the kingdom he vowed to protect."

The remake undoubtedly owes its existence to the success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which has also inspired the imminent remake of Spyro's first three games. It also appears to be following Sony's own lead, with the remake of Shadow Of The Colossus, though the somewhat slow frame rate in the trailer suggests there's a long way to go before it reaches the high level of quality of the previous ones. What do you expect from Medievil Remake?
