Sony reduces the price of playstation vr by 100 euros

HTC has taken the chest with the announcement of the HTC Vive Pro, the highest resolution virtual reality device on the market, but that comes at a price too high for all players to access the device. Sony follows a very different strategy with its PlayStation VR, technically much lower, but with a much more affordable price after a last reduction of 100 euros.

PlayStation VR now for only 299 euros with camera included

PlayStation VR will not be by specifications the best virtual reality device on the market, but its price is only 299 euros after the last permanent reduction applied by Sony. In addition, this price includes a camera necessary for its operation, and a copy of VR Worlds. This discount will be applied from tomorrow and will be permanently.

In this way Sony continues to try to give a new boost to its virtual reality platform, PlayStation VR came to the market approximately a year and a half ago, since then it has sold more than two million units worldwide and 12.2 million games compatible.

Until now it has been the best-selling VR device, proving that Sony's strategy of offering a modest product in features but with a more reasonable price has been a success. There are currently around 150 games available for PlayStation VR, a very modest figure that shows that VR still has a long way to go.
