Sony has announced the presale of its new Xperia Ear Duo wireless headphones, which will be available for purchase in the United States on May 25 for a suggested price of $ 279.99.

The new Sony Xperia Ear Duo wireless headphones feature Dual Listening technology, which allows the user to listen to music and receive notifications while also paying attention to ambient sound, making them ideal for training or traveling.

Developed by the Sony Future Lab Program's internal technology incubator, the Spatial Acoustic Conductor allows sound generated behind the ear by the unit controller to be transmitted directly to the ear. The specially designed ring holder surrounds the ear canal, so music can be perfectly combined with surrounding sounds. They feature a circular design that does not completely isolate ambient sound. In this way, the user can adjust the volume automatically according to the ambient noise, Sony's Clear Phase technology eliminates unnecessary noise.

Sony Xperia Ear Duo also responds to head gestures thanks to its advanced sensors, which let you play music, answer or reject incoming calls by shaking or rocking your head. The device has support for voice commands for assistants such as Google Assistant or Apple Siri.

This new device is IPX2 certified, offers four hours of music in a row on a single full charge and one hour on a four-minute charge. Lastly, the headphones come in four different sizes to fit the ears of all users.
