The well-known manufacturer Spire is launching a new refrigerator for its 'gaming' X2 line, it is the CoolStorm T402B Spider Red, which seems to be already available in stores.

CoolStorm T402B Spider Red is available for about 45 euros

The CoolStorm T402B Spider Red is a cooling tower with aluminum fins. These fins are black in color and the same color as black anodized heatpipes for a cool look.

The new CoolStorm cooler has a total of four heatpipes about 6mm thick making the base in direct contact with the processor. At the front is a 120mm fan with two red accents. Despite these details in red, there is no built-in RGB lighting, something rare to see today, although seeing the price it has, it should not be so surprising either.

The fan is PWM controlled, with a speed that can vary between 800 - 2000 RPM.

The CoolStorm T402B Spider Red CPU Air Cooler supports the AM4, AM3 (+), FM2 (+) and LGA115x platforms, making it ready for virtually all current consumer boards. However, we should not expect to combine this heatsink with high-end processors and a lot of consumption, especially if we think about overclocking. The CoolStorm T402B Spider Red seems to be designed to replace those heatsinks that come in stock with the Intel and AMD options.

The recommended retail price is 45 USD.
