Spotify updates its interface with more prominence for podcasts

Spotify presents a new design in its interface. The well-known streaming application renews its design, now presenting two clearly separated sections. On the one hand we find music and on the other with podcasts. It is a clear commitment to give more prominence to the second type of content, which continues to gain presence and followers. So the app adapts.

Although this time, the new design of the application is limited. Only for those users with a paid account it can be seen. So if you don't have a paid account, the design doesn't change.

New interface

The company itself has left us with a video where we can see the changes that have been made to this interface in premium accounts. Two clearly separated sections, which should allow for much more comfortable use of Spotify at all times. Since if you are looking for a podcast, you will only have to enter that section, dedicated exclusively to them. Navigation will be simpler this way.

The Music section does not present changes, except for a new playlist. This playlist will be created automatically with all the songs that you mark with a “Like”. So it will be very comfortable.

If you have a premium Spotify account, this new in-app design is starting to launch now. So you shouldn't have to wait too long until you can enjoy it. It does not seem that this change is going to spread to all users, at least for now.
