Spyro the dragon will be the protagonist of the new remaster after the success of crash bandicoot n. sane trilogy

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has achieved absolute success on the PlayStation 4, something that has made Activision not miss the opportunity to continue exploiting the old glories of the golden age of video games. This year we will have another great remaster, this time starring another of the great icons of the original PlayStation, no more and no less than Spyro the Dragon.

Spyro the Dragon will return as a remaster

Spyro the Dragon brings to life a trilogy that came out exclusively for the original PlayStation in the late 90s and early 2000s, the protagonist of all of them is a cute purple dragon that uses its horns and fire that comes out of his mouth to finish off enemies. Activision has not confirmed anything for now, but an expert in the video game industry ensures that a remaster of the Spyro the Dragon trilogy is just around the corner.

This remaster will include the three original games, these are Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Like Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, they will have new animations and a completely redesigned visual section to adapt to current times. The inclusion of better lighting, a high definition soundtrack, a new save system, and may even come with levels that did not see the light in the original games are also expected.

Once again, the remaster will be a temporary exclusive to the Sony console and then arrive on the Nintendo Switch, it would arrive in September to celebrate Spyro's 20 years.
