Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order will be released on November 15 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, and today they have confirmed what their minimum and recommended requirements will be for PC.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order requires a GTX 1070 or equivalent to play at top quality

When EA and developer Respawn Entertainment confirmed the game's requirements, a 32GB RAM capacity was originally recommended, but this was quickly corrected to recommend about 16GB of memory, which makes much more sense.

Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order will work with older Ivy Bridge era i3 processors (dual-core) and AMD FX processors (6-core), though new Skylake or Ryzen processors are recommended. As for the GPU, EA includes an HD 7750 and a GTX 650 as minimum GPU requirements, while recommending the RX Vega 56 and Nvidia GTX 1070 models to play with the maximum settings.

Minimum requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 64-bit Processor (AMD): FX-6100 or equivalent Processor (Intel): i3-3220 or equivalent Memory: 8 GB Graphics card (AMD): Radeon HD 7750 or equivalent Graphics card (NVIDIA): GeForce GTX 650 or equivalent DirectX: 11 Capacity: 55 GB

Recommended requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 64-bit Processor (AMD): Ryzen 7 1700 or equivalent Processor (Intel): i7-6700K or equivalent Memory: 16 GB Graphics card (AMD): RX Vega 56 or equivalent Graphics card (NVIDIA): GTX 1070 or equivalent DirectX: 11 Capacity: 55 GB

The requirements don't seem extremely high to be recommended and between the minimum and high GPU requirements there seems to be a significant margin so we think it will be well optimized. The same can be said of the CPU margin that we see between the minimum and the recommended. Either way, always go with lead feet. We will know when the game comes out on November 15. On PC, it will be available in the Origin store.
