Starcraft 2 available for free with its patch 4.0

Starcraft 2 is one of the most played strategy video games and one of the stars of the eSports movement. In a decision that has surprised both locals and strangers, earlier this month Blizzard announced that the game would become Free-to-Play and is now available to everyone.

This free version of Starcraft 2 includes the Wings of Liberty campaign to be played at no cost, but beware, the remaining two campaigns will not be available, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. All units will be available in non-ranked and custom multiplayer mode, in addition to the multiplayer hierarchy upon completing the first 10 wins of the day in ranked multiplayer games or Versus IA mode.

All commanders will be available in-game up to level 5 with co-op missions, which are also included in this free version of the video game. With the launch will also be new commanders Mira Han and Matt Horner.

Those who want to experience the other two campaigns in the game will be able to buy them for 14.99 each. Blizzard has also thought about those who already have Wings of Liberty, in which case they can get a free copy of Heart of the Swarm.
