Surface book 3 and surface go 2: possible specifications

The Petri media outlet has released the 'potential' specifications for Microsoft's upcoming products, the Surface Book 3 and the Surface Go 2. Microsoft is rumored to announce the two devices at an event in New York in the spring.

Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 to be announced in spring

The Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 should not have any drastic changes in aesthetics. The real update is under the hood. Microsoft is expected to take advantage of the latest offerings from Intel and Nvidia to upgrade both devices with increased gross power.

The Surface Book 3 will reportedly use 10th generation Intel processors, alluding to 10nm Ice Lake chips ranging from two to four cores. The Surface Book 3 will apparently also make use of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 16 series graphics cards. The high-end model, which probably only comes in the 15-inch form factor, will be available with an Nvidia Quadro model.

Other enhancements to the Surface Book 3 include an increase in memory capacity from 16GB to 32GB and the possible inclusion of a 1TB SSD for fast storage. The new 13.5-inch Surface Book is rumored to cost about $ 1, 400.

On the other hand, the Surface Go 2 will likely continue to use Intel's low-end processors, such as the Pentium Gold or perhaps the Core M series. The Surface Go 2 is expected to be priced affordable starting at $ 399.
