Surface pro has problems with its power cables
According to a Channelnomics report, some of the Surface Pro devices have a problem with their power cords that makes them prone to overheating and there is even a risk of fire if they are bent or wrapped around being damaged.
From Microsoft they have confirmed the problem and have already announced that they will replace these cables for free in the devices sold to customers. The affected models are the first, second and third generation Surface Pro that were sold before July 15, 2015. The Surface Pro 4 is not affected in any case.
The total number of devices affected has not been mentioned, but their number will not be exactly low.
