Synology launches its inexpensive nas ds215j
Synology has announced its new NAS DiskStation DS215j system, it is a low-cost device that increases performance compared to its predecessor and offers an economical alternative to users with less resources.
The new Synology DiskStation DS215j NAS offers two hard drive bays and allows you to store data, stream audiovisual content, and sync files over the network.
It is equipped with a Marvell Armada 375 ARM dual-core processor with FPU specially designed for multitasking and multimedia processing. The system offers a read rate of 111 MB / s and a write rate of 87 MB / s, representing an increase of 19% compared to its predecessor, with a reduced power consumption of 13.4W at full performance and 5.3 W at rest. It also has a USB 3.0 port for file transfer that its predecessor lacked.
It also allows video recording supporting up to 10 simultaneous channels in 720p resolution and 240 FPS. It works with the DiskStation Manager 5.1 operating system which provides a large number of applications for greater productivity at work and a better multimedia experience.
