TEAMGROUP is one of those companies that is a great unknown to the Spanish public, but in America it is very famous for its quality / price products. We met her during this Computex and have sent us her new T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 memories.

Will it measure up to other memory makers? Do not miss our analysis! Prepare a cool drink that… Let's start!

We appreciate the trust of TEAMGROUP for the transfer of the product for its analysis:

T-Force Vulcan Z technical characteristics

Unboxing and design

TEAMGROUP opts for a simple but very effective presentation. The plastic packaging assures us that the RAM memories will arrive in perfect condition to our home.

In this packaging, they give us a small preview of the memories we have acquired: a 16 GB kit, its latency, nominal voltage and, of course, the aspect of RAM memory. What a good looking!

On the back we have a brief explanation of the product in English and a small QR code that takes us directly to the product's website. Once we open the box, we find two T-Force Vulcan Z modules . Each module has a size of 8GB, which if we install it on our computer, we will have a total of 16 GB of DDR4 RAM with the benefits of Dual Channel.

Its serial speeds for the Intel platform is 3, 200 Mhz and have a guaranteed latency of CL16 (16-18-18-38) and a voltage of 1.35v. Currently we can buy this model and two lower ones: 3000 (identical latencies) and 2666 MHz (latencies at CL18).

Its dimensions are 32mm high x 140mm wide x 7mm thick. And we can buy a maximum of 32 GB of memory in a kit of two 16 GB modules.

It is the first time that we have tested T-Force memories in our test bench. But TEAMGROUP has always been characterized by having a great quality / price ratio. In this case, it combines both features and a low profile design that is compatible with any heatsink on the market. So we should not have any problem when purchasing this kit.

The heatsink is constructed of metal, and features a 0.8mm aluminum frame that will dissipate all the heat from memory chips. The manufacturer's logo is engraved in the center and the name of its range in the right corner: Vulcan Z. That is, we are in front of an efficient and quality heatsink.

We really liked that T-Force opts for hand-picked memories. They are manufactured by the company itself and ensures greater compatibility and durability. As many of you know, fast memories always benefit performance in a gaming or high-performance equipment.

As expected, it has the Intel XMP 2.0 certification , which makes it compatible at maximum frequencies on Intel platforms: LGA 1151 and LGA 2066. Although T-Force at no time confirms its 100% compatibility with the AM4 platform.

We have used a top-of-the-range Asus Formula motherboard with a Z390 chipset and an i9-9900K processor, which has been a classic for some time in our test bench. All results have been passed with the 3, 200 MHz profile and the applied voltage of 1.35V on Dual Channel. Let's go see them!

Final words and conclusion about T-Force Vulcan Z

The T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 memories have left us a great taste in our mouths, both for their performance and for their compatibility with the Intel platform.

After many tests and a couple of weeks of use, the Vulcan Z have convinced us of their quality. We find it a great option to play with fast memories and one more option on the market when it comes to increasing your RAM memory or buying a new PC.

We recommend reading the best RAM memory on the market

Perhaps we are missing a kit with memories at 3600 or 4000 MHz, but it seems that T-Force has decided to leave it for another higher range. We also liked that it does not have any RGB system ?

Currently we can buy this memory kit from Amazon from 43 euros to 72 euros. At the moment we have not seen any Spanish store to buy it, although the manufacturer confirms that they are doing everything possible to get their products to the main online stores.
