Team Group T-Force Cardea is a new high performance solid state disk (SSD), which stands out for arriving with an M.2 format and incorporating an aluminum heatsink as standard, to help reduce the overheating problems that are usually experienced these types of devices.
Team Group T-Force Cardea
The Team Group T-Force Cardea seeks to offer an alternative to the new MSI M.2 Shield that the brand exclusively provides on its motherboards. The Team Group T-Force Cardea includes its own aluminum heatsink to prevent the unit from overheating during very intensive use and thus maintain its consistent performance. This heatsink is capable of reducing the temperature of the controller from 76.7ºC to a more contained 57.1ºC and the temperature of the NAND memory chips is reduced from 60.05ºC to 44.6ºC. This will be especially important for users looking to mount a very compact rig in which cooling is more compromised than in more spacious towers.
