Having a good mouse is essential for any type of PC user but especially for gamers. A mouse of very good quality does not have to be very expensive as demonstrated by the manufacturer Thunder X3 with its Thunder X3 TM10 model. A mouse with excellent OMRON switches, a highly accurate sensor and an ergonomic body to hold it in your hand for long sessions without fatigue. What more could you ask for? An anti-tangle cable… you will also find it in this great mouse.
First of all we thank Thunder X3 for giving us the TM10 for analysis.
Thunder X3 TM10: technical characteristics
Thunder X3 TM10: unboxing and description
The Thunder X3 TM10 mouse comes to us in a cardboard box of usual dimensions for what we usually see in this type of product. The box has a large window so that we nickname to appreciate the product before going through the box, a detail that only the largest brands usually offer and this time it leaves us with a pleasant feeling. When opening the window we can also see the main characteristics of the mouse that we will delve into later.
We open the box and we find a plastic blister that contains the mouse properly protected, in this sense there is not much more to say nor can we expect more in a product as economical as this.
Once the packaging is seen, we have to look at the mouse itself. Quickly we are struck by its bright orange cable with a rubber finish that gives it a very pleasant look and feel, beyond that the rubber gives it greater resistance and helps to avoid the always annoying tangles. In this regard, the Thunder X3 TM10 has surprised me very pleasantly when trying to innovate in an aspect in which even the most expensive mice on the market do not, the rest of the brands could already learn.
The body of the mouse is mainly made of high-quality black plastic, although we note that two rubber pads are located on the sides for a much better grip and to prevent them from slipping from our hands in sudden movements. These side pads are the same orange color as the cable to break with an aesthetic that perhaps would be too black if it were not for them and for the wheel that is also presented in the same color. Precisely the wheel has shown a very pleasant operation with an accurate displacement both short and long distances.
Accompanying the wheel is a small button that will allow us to adjust the DPI level of the sensor on the fly and at preset values of 1000/2000/3000 DPI to adapt to the preferences of a large number of users. Also at the top we find the two main buttons that have Japanese OMRON mechanisms with a useful life of at least 20 million keystrokes, these buttons are slightly curved to offer a much more comfortable grip and are perfectly accessible to the fingers without any effort.
On the left side we find two buttons that will help us perform tasks such as moving forward and backward in web browsing, it also provides us with two additional controls for our games. They are pleasant to the touch and are quite hard, giving us a good quality feeling that will not break in a short time. The right side is completely free except for the rubber pad.
On the back we find the brand logo that is screen printed and therefore has no lighting.
At the bottom we find the sensor with a maximum resolution of 3, 000 DPI and a small switch that serves to turn the lighting on and off to our liking.
WE RECOMMEND YOU KFA2 GTX 1060 EXOC Review (Full Review)At the end of the 1.6 meter USB cable we find the USB connector of a fairly large size and gold plated for better conservation over time and better contact.
Final words and conclusion
The Thunder X3 TM10 was born to demonstrate that you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a good quality, high performance mouse. A comfortable design in the hand, buttons with switches of the best quality, a good quality sensor and a cable with a finish that helps reduce tangles, all this we get in a very economical product.
After using the mouse for several hours it can be said that its operation is excellent both in basic tasks and in games, the button to adjust the DPI allows us to regulate the speed of the cursor movement to adapt it to our needs and all this in a very comfortable. The ergonomics makes it easy to hold it for a long time and it is very easy to access the two main buttons and the wheel, in other much more expensive mice it has become more uncomfortable for me to change my finger from the main button to the wheel.
Finally, the movement of the mouse is excellent, getting to work in perfect conditions on various surfaces, although as always, if we want to obtain the best result, the ideal is to use a mat.
The Tunder X3 TM10 is for sale for an approximate price of 20 euros.
