They are already here. After the latest leaks we already have official confirmation: the Chinese company Lenovo has just presented two new Android tablet models, the so-called Lenovo Yoga Tablet. Its design integrates a support system for easy use on any surface, without the need for an extra cover or accessory.

They are two very similar models. Although their difference lies mainly in the size (one has an 8-inch screen and the other 10-inch), both have an IPS panel and a 1, 280 × 800 pixel resolution , which gives them high resolution and a large viewing angle (specifically 178º), they also include the popular MediaTek MT8125 quad-core chip with quad-core 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB of internal memory (to be chosen by the buyer), expandable up to 64 GB by microSD card media . Its autonomy is an impressive 18 hours.

In terms of connectivity, we could classify them as full connection devices, since they have Bluetooh 4.0, 3G option through micro SIM and Wi-Fi n. The present operating system is Android Jelly Bean 4.2, with a very clean interface.

Both tablets are composed of a 5- megapixel rear camera and a 1.6- megapixel front camera, which offer us the possibility of being able to make recordings in HD.

More than just an attractive design

On the other hand, its support deserves a special mention, which allows us a triple type of use:

- Folded: thanks to its ergonomic design it is ideal to hold it in your hand and read or view photos.

- Unfolded: it is a kind of lectern mode that allows us to unfold a small foot, thus placing the tablet as perpendicular to the table as possible, an ideal way to watch movies or listen to music, thus taking full advantage of the content multimedia.

- Supported on top or tilted mode: allows the tablet to be almost parallel to the table, although with a slight inclination so that we can surf the internet, play video games or write.

As for its weight and dimensions, they vary according to the size of the screen. In the case of the 8-inch leonovo yoga tablet, the measurements are 213 × 144 × 7.3 mm and its weight is 401g (405g for the 3G model). For the 10-inch Lenovo Yoga Tablet, its dimensions are 261 × 180 × 8.1 mm and its weight is 605g (610g for the 3G model).

Both models integrate a microphone with a noise reduction system, in addition to presenting great sound quality Dolby Digital Plus (DS1) thanks to its dual front speaker system.

Availability and prices

Both models will be available in the EMEA region starting this November, with a price of 229 euros for the 8-inch Leonovo tablet and 299 euros for the 10-inch tablet. Prices quite adjusted if we take into account this interesting design, although we cannot say the same for the accessories: an 8 and 10-inch case and a more professional one with a bluetooh keyboard in both sizes and for 99 euros.
