Archer X11000 and AX6000 gaming router and low-cost Wi-Fi 6 extenders
The next on the list of news, and which will be one of the main attractions for the gaming world, is the TP-Link Archer AX11000, which has been awarded the innovation award at this CES 2019. This is the first bet by the manufacturer to provide us with a high-performance gaming router in the AX protocol and, we assume that with dual 4 × 4 connectivity for high-performance network cards.
Another of the launched products is the TP-Link Archer AX6000, also with AX technology and capacity for 4 × 4 connections at 5 GHz at a speed of 4804 Mbps and at 2.4 GHz at 1148 Mbps. It also has application support that request high bandwidth as 4K UHD content and online gaming.
The manufacturer has also launched two lower cost and performance solutions with the Archer AX1800 models, consisting of a RE705X Wi-Fi extender, and Archer AX1500 with similar features and lower cost.
New line TP-Link OneMesh
TP-Link OneMesh is a new Wi-Fi solution to implement a highly compatible home and small business Wi-Fi network so that you do not have to change the TP-Link devices that we already have. The AC1200 RE300 Wi-Fi dual band repeater will be the first OneMesh Wi-Fi extender that the brand will commercialize. OneMesh will be available by updating the firmware of TP-Link routers or by purchasing Wi-Fi extenders to the network.
The company has not given details of the launch date, of these products or of the price they will have. As always, we will have to wait for updates of reliable information and by the brand. Quite possibly we will have all these products for analysis. Do you think the Archer AX11000 will outperform the Asus Rapture AX11000?
