Ts15a, the most advanced heatsink from intel
Intel heatsinks are not known for being very efficient at doing their job, in fact one of the first recommendations when mounting a new computer is to buy a more efficient heatsink to cool our processor. Now intel surprises us with a new heatsink for the LGA 1151 socket much larger than the ones it has been making until now.
The new Intel TS15A heatsink is based on its classic circular design with a fan at the top, the difference is that the aluminum radiator has a much higher height. The previous image shows the new heatsink on the left and the classic model on the right.
The cooling capacity of the new TS15A remains to be known, although it should not be surprising considering that it is based on the same design as previous Intel heatsinks and that it does not incorporate heatpipes to improve heat transfer. We highlight that this new Intel heatsink does not include the fan so we must obtain one separately.
Its price should be around 40 euros.
