Ubisoft reveals that its servers have suffered a DDoS attack

It seems that the attacks, which began yesterday Friday afternoon, have been resolved around 22:00 on Friday night, but have taken a long time. Although this is normal, since many of the DDoS attacks usually last for quite a few hours.

DDoS attacks in Ubisoft

In recent months we are seeing how these types of DDoS attacks are expanding and are becoming more frequent. At the moment, in the case of this attack against Ubisoft's servers, it is not known who or who is behind it. There has also been no one who has claimed responsibility for this attack. So we will have to wait for something.

The company itself is conducting an investigation into this. The important thing is that the DDoS attack has already ended. Although users may still notice some connection issues, but it will be fixed immediately.

Ubisoft was not the only victim of a DDoS attack, since another creator of games such as Square Enix has also confirmed problems with its servers on social networks for the same reason. Whether these two attacks are related has not yet been demonstrated.
