Apple TV + strengthens before launch
According to information released by Deadline , Danielle DePalma will serve as manager on Apple's video marketing team. His position positions him directly below Chris Van Amburg, whom he will report to as Apple's chief video marketing officer.
Before joining the Apple TV + marketing team, DePalma has stood out for his professional career within the film industry. She recently held the position of Executive Vice President at Lionsgate, where she has worked on marketing campaigns for films such as The Hunger Games saga:
DePalma was a Lionsgate veteran who spent approximately a decade with the company before leaving in January. Previously at Lionsgate, she served as VP of Digital Marketing and VP of New Media and Marketing, overseeing digital and social media campaigns for movies like The Hunger Games franchise and Kick-Ass.
Earlier last week, Apple hired a former A + E executive as director of documentaries for Apple TV +. The service, announced by a host of film and television celebrities during Apple's latest keynote, will be launched next fall, coinciding with the launch of Disney +.
