Vimeo launches an app for macos with integration with final cut pro

Vimeo, YouTube's competitor in terms of video platform, yesterday presented a new application for the macOS operating system that can now be downloaded for free from the Mac App Store. Thanks to this new native client, users will be able to simplify video sharing, customize metadata and have instant access to share links and embed codes.
Vimeo comes to your Mac
Specifically, the new application offers integration with Final Cut Pro, which simplifies the workflow of creating a movie and uploading it to Vimeo.
Vimeo was already part of the options for “Sharing” in macOS, as it was for iOS until the arrival of iOS 11 in which native sharing options were removed from the operating system. However, the novelty of this new Mac application lies in its configuration options and features.
As we read in MacRumors, thanks to the compatibility or integration of Vimeo for Mac with the professional video editing tool Final Cut Pro, video creators will be able to upload their creations in more formats and codecs, including ProRes.
On the other hand, it is also possible to upload multiple files at once to Vimeo (something that, until now, was not possible), as well as directly loading multiple subtitles and the immediate display of shared permanent links, all from Final Cut Pro. Of course, once you download the Vimeo app (compatible from macOS 10.12 Sierra onwards) and connect it to Final Cut Pro, don't forget to restart it.
