The My Passport line now includes the thinnest 5TB portable hard drive from the Western Digital brand yet, with a thickness of just 19.15mm. The sleek design fits in the palm of your hand, but it has room to store, organize, and share tons of photos, videos, music, and documents.

The sleek new units have a cool-minimalist look and a few diagonal lines that take up half of the front surface.

The My Passport drive comes in new colors, black, blue, and red, while the My Passport for Mac drive is midnight blue. The My Passport drive is formatted for Windows 10 and will feature a USB 3.0 connector compatible with USB 2.0. The My Passport for Mac drive is formatted for MacOS Mojave and will have a USB-C connector.

These drives include the WD Discovery app for WD Security (password protection and 256-bit AES hardware encryption), social media import, and cloud storage (such as Facebook, Dropbox, and Google Drive), which can be done using WD Drive Utilities.

With a three-year warranty, the new WD My Passports are now available starting at $ 79.99 for the 1TB model at the Western Digital Store and Best Buy.
