Filters will be introduced in this new search that works on WhatsApp. Thanks to them it will be possible for users to find what they are looking for in the app. In addition to text, it will be possible to find photos, videos, audio notes, GIFs or documents. Everything in a much simpler and more precise way thanks to the possibility of using these filters.

Also, the search would come with a new interface. A change similar to the one that the settings menu has had in the month of January. So it will allow a better search by users of the messaging app.

The first tests with it are underway, at least on iOS. Although so far we do not have any data on the date on which this function will be introduced in WhatsApp. It is expected to be sometime this year. But we will have to wait to find out.
