Windows 10 redstone 2 will power multi-device work

Windows 10 Redstone 2 will focus a lot on improving productivity and other details that we will get to know more and more after some of its features have reached the Insider program. A very interesting feature will be "Continue App Experiences" which will make it much easier to combine the use of mobile applications with the PC.

The "Continue App Experiences" feature is now available to developers and allows the user to get to work in one app and then continue on another device exactly where I left off on the previous one. Something very similar to the Handoff from Apple but that still has a lot of work ahead since it offers practically no configuration options in its current state for developers. Microsoft is also working on a new UI for Windows 10 that will launch notifications to communicate users to synchronize the status of their applications with other devices and continue in the same state they left it, all with the help of Cortana.

Those at Redmond want to take it further and make it possible to restore an entire workspace at the push of a button, something that would be great for users who need to switch between multiple devices for their day-to-day activities and that will allow them higher productivity. With this it seems clear that Redstone 2 will be more focused on offering greater productivity and a better experience of use and that Cortana will be the central axis for maximum ease of use of all the innovations introduced.

Of course Windows 10 Redstone 2 will include many more novelties that we will be hearing about in the coming months, remember that the arrival of its final version is not expected until well into 2017, more news would be related to greater integration with Office.
