The XFX Radeon RX 480 Double Dissipation uses the advanced Double Dissipation cooling system from the brand consisting of a dense aluminum fin radiator that is pierced by four copper heatpipes and a copper base that also sits at the bottom of the radiator to help extract more heat from the GPU and spread it throughout the radiator surface for dissipation.

The set is equipped with two fans that are easily removable for maintenance and cleaning of accumulated dust without having to remove the entire heatsink. XFX's cooling solution promises to reduce temperatures by 40% over the reference heatsink while remaining much quieter.

Beneath the heatsink is a custom PCB that draws power from an 8-pin power connector for more stable operation and to allow higher levels of overclocking than the AMD reference card. On the PCB is a Polaris 10 Ellesmere core that totals 2304 Processors Shaders, 144 TMUs and 32 ROPs at a maximum operating frequency of 1, 328 MHz and accompanied by 8 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit interface and a width of 256GB / s bandwidth. All this seasoned with a backplate that provides greater rigidity while protecting the delicate components.

The XFX Radeon RX 480 Double Dissipation will go on sale at the end of July at an unknown price to try to fight with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060.
