Xfx rx 480 8gb will sell for $ 300

The launch of the AMD RX 480 graphics card is imminent on June 26 and models from different manufacturers in the sector are already beginning to leak, such as XFX, one of the most famous in the field. XFX RX 480 (RX-480M8BFA6) was filtered from a Chinese site, its appearance, specifications that XFX will include and its price that already begins to worry us a little.

XFX's bet with this card is to add a small overclock dose of 1266Mhz (reference frequency) at 1288MHz, nothing if we take into account the latest information that this graphic card can reach 1.4GHz without changing the voltage. The memory would be 8GB GDDR5 running at 8, 000MHz and will use exactly the same cooling as AMD's base model.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is that this chart would sell for 1, 999 yuan, which at the current exchange rate would be about $ 300. According to what we know, in China it happens as in the United States and the prices are given without taxes, so the change would be 270 euros, so in the end it could be around 330 euros.

XFX will use the reference model

Recall that we are talking about the 8GB model and not the 4GB model, which surely comes closer to 200 euros (perhaps 230 euros approx), the number with which AMD hype about this graphic card a few weeks ago. Taking into account that XFX is one of the cheapest assemblers and that it uses the reference model, the "customs" versions will surely be sold at a price much higher than the famous 200 euros.
