Last Saturday, the popular Chinese-based technology firm Xiaomi continued its opening career by opening a new store in the Nueva Condomina shopping center in Murcia. As it could not be otherwise, I could not miss this great event that, without a doubt, has had a thunderous success, with long queues of "my fans" that lasted throughout the day.

Xiaomi has opened a new store. This time it was in Murcia, in the Nueva Condomina shopping center. Under the franchise model, in this small Mi Store, we can find a wide variety of brand products, from its popular electric scooter or a power strip to plug in your devices, to the latest smartphone models such as the MI A2, the new Pocophone F1, the Mi Mix 2S or the beautiful and powerful Mi 8.

I must emphasize that, since the opening of the store of its great rival, Apple, some years ago and located a few meters away in the same shopping center, I had not seen a similar expectation. An hour before the opening, more than 250 people were waiting in line, but they did not stop arriving throughout Saturday.

The day was full of opening offers, a great activity on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and of course, a good handful of raffles, from the rice cooker that the brand tries to popularize, Mi Sling Bag backpacks or three units of the MI A2. Without forgetting the more than 200 gifts that were distributed (My Action Camera 4K for the first in line, Mi Band 2, My Metal Pen and a few t-shirts). And all this chaired by Mi Bunny , the peculiar pet of Xiaomi.

The new Xiaomi store in Murcia has been full of customers throughout the day, as you can see in the image above. The reception has been really positive, showing the great interest that the Spanish public has, and in particular, the Murcian users, to get all kinds of Mi products and accessories.
