Xiaomi's first gaming smartphone, the Black Shark, was a success according to technological means or, at least, by those who were able to get the phone. After all, availability is quite limited, and the phone can only be found in China. But judging from the new Xiaomi Black Shark page, things could change soon.

Xiaomi Black Shark launched in China in April with a base price of 390 euros

Announced in April, the phone is finally going to be launched outside of Chinese territory, at least according to the website global.blackshark.com . Unfortunately, the latter doesn't reveal much, it just says "Unleashing Soon". There is also a form where you can fill in your email address and receive a notification when the phone is available worldwide.

Black Shark surprised by its specs earlier this year, with its 6-inch FullHD + screen, Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 / 8GB of RAM and storage of up to 128GB.

For now, we can only wait and ask ourselves, isn't it a little late? After all, it had an advantage in its home country, but with the Razer Phone 2 and Asus ROG Phone on the way, the Black Shark has tough competition to beat globally right now. Additionally, a recent TENAA listing suggests that a second generation is also sticking to the equation, so Xiaomi may soon be improving the specs of the original Black Shark as well.

It seems that the 'fashion' of 'gaming' smartphones is here to stay, at least for a time.
