Xiaomi changes its presentation to a compact orange box. Little are we going to talk about it since the only information, we find it on the back with a small sticker. Once we open it we find:

The new Xiaomi Mi4c is built on a plastic chassis, which although it does not have a premium touch, it shows that it is of quality. Its design is minimalist but careful, it has a flat design and has everything we need in a smartphone. The good thing about Xiaomi is that it offers us a wide variety of colors for the Mi4c: black, gray, white, yellow, turquoise and pink, all with a unibody design, so we cannot remove the battery.

Specifically, we have analyzed the 'light' version, with a 5-inch IPS screen, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (441 ppi) for perfect image quality and with 71.7% of the front area. The size of the terminal is 138.1 x 69.6 x 7.8 mm and it has a weight of 132 grams.

Inside it houses the all-powerful 1.44 Hz quad- core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and two other 1.82 GHz Cortex A57s with a 20nm manufacturing process. There is a 2 GB version of RAM (the one we are analyzing) and another with 3 GB of RAM together with an Adreno 418 graphics card that will allow us to enjoy any Android game.

Regarding its internal storage, there are several versions, this one specifically has 16GB and a second with 32GB. In both cases they are not expandable, so we recommend choosing the Xiaomi Mi4C with 3GB and 32GB of internal memory, since it has a not very relevant price difference.

On connectivity, we have support for both 2G / 3G / 4G LTE lines, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n connection, Bluetooth 4, NFC, dual SIM card and A-GPS / GLONASS. We detail the supported frequencies:

It has a 3080 mAh battery that we are not allowed to remove when having a unibody body. The autonomy is quite good, with almost 5 hours of active screen with a normal performance, if we are very fast, the battery will last a little less (between 4 and 4 and a half hours).

About the operating system, we have the popular Google Android in its 5.1 Lollipop version and the Miui 7 custom interface. At first, it will make us feel a little strange, but as the days go by we will fall in love with it. Among its benefits, we find root as standard, very useful applications and excellent fluidity.

Multimedia

In the multimedia section, we have a 13MP camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor with autofocus, face detection and a dual-tone dual LED flash capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps. The front camera has 5 megapixels (perfect for selfies).

Final words and conclusion

The Xiaomi Mi4C is the threat to high-end terminals both for its excellent features and for its price. Among its features, we find a Snapdragon 808, 5-inch IPS Full HD screen, 2 GB of RAM, Adreno 418 graphics card and 16 GB of internal memory. As you already know, there is a superior version with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory for just 30 euros more.
