Xiaomi mi5 will also be available with windows 10

The Xiaomi Mi4 has been the first smartphone from the Chinese firm to receive a Windows 10-based ROM and it seems that the company is determined to follow the same path in its next top-of-the-range terminals. Thus the Xiaomi Mi5 will also have a version with the Windows 10 operating system.

The Windows 10 version of the Xiaomi Mi5 will be identical to its Android namesake, therefore the operating system will be the only difference. We can think of the possibility that users can use either of the two systems on the same smartphone, although this has not yet been confirmed. The Mi5 will be presented at the MWC in Barcelona in February.

The Xiaomi Mi5 will arrive with a 5.2-inch screen and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood. It is expected to arrive in several versions differentiated by the screen resolution, the construction material, the RAM and the internal storage.

Thus we will have two variants with metal chassis, internal storage capacities and RAM of 32 GB / 3 GB and 64 GB / 4GB and a QHD resolution in both cases, these two versions will arrive with prices of approximately 400 and 440 euros respectively.

Then there will be two variants built with a polycarbonate chassis, FullHD screen and capacities of 32GB / 3GB and 64GB / 4GB, these two units will arrive for prices of 310 euros and 365 euros.
