More and more companies are betting on their own streaming service. A little over a week ago it was Apple. In addition, the Disney one also awaits us in a few months. But there are companies that have plans in this regard, or at least interest. It is the case of Xiaomi. Since the Chinese firm would be planning to have its own streaming service.

These plans of the Chinese brand would have the Indian market as the main objective. An emerging market in which they are growing a lot, and in which they are looking for new opportunities.

Although at the moment it seems that there are no concrete plans in this regard. But Xiaomi has shown its interest in entering the market for streaming services. But for now we know nothing about the development of this own service of the Chinese brand. Nor is anything known about its possible market launch. So it's more something they want to do, but it hasn't started as such yet.

Since the company sees that there are good business opportunities in this market segment. What is not known is whether they would want to do it only for the market in India, or if their plans would go through a worldwide launch.

But it will probably take a while until we know more about these Xiaomi plans. So we will see what the brand has in mind and if they really make their entrance in this segment, or if it remains a simple wish.
