Xiaomi wants to build its own processors and get rid of qualcomm

It is clear that the bigger a company the more options it contemplates. This time around, we have Xiaomi, which would build its own chips just to get rid of Qualcomm. Because let's remember, that the launch of the Xiaomi Mi6 will be delayed until next April, due to the departure of Snapdragon 835. Many fans agree that the only way for the product to be 100% Xiaomi and to be delivered within the deadlines established, is that they manufacture their own chips and leave Qualcomm aside, but we can not deny that Snapdragon is synonymous with guarantees and success.

The dependence on third parties means that many times we cannot meet the established deadlines, because not all the ball is on the same roof. This time, it is what Xiaomi feels is happening with that dependency on Qualcomm.

For many, that Mi6 comes with Snapdragon is tremendous news, because we know it will be good and powerful. But what if Xiaomi made its own chips ? They could be good… but could they be better than Qualcomm's? It would be a long way from this and to find out. It is clear that for now we do not have the answer, because everything can happen. Xiaomi is a brand that in recent years is coming out, but it could really happen.

For now, we only know that Xiaomi could be serious about creating its first chips. That is, it is more than a rumor, it is something that could come from one moment to another if it were proposed and that we could even have for next year 2018.
