Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Redmi Note 3 in its native China, a smartphone that was supposed to be called Redmi Note 2 Pro but that finally arrives under another name. Its main novelty is the presence of a metal chassis, fingerprint sensor and a large 4000 mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a phablet built with an aluminum chassis with a weight of 164 grams and a thickness of 8.65mm, which includes a 5.5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Inside it hides a powerful MediaTek Helio X10 processor along with 2 GB / 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB / 32 GB of internal storage.

Its specifications are completed by a 13-megapixel rear camera with face detection and autofocus, 4G dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and the MIUI 7 operating system.

It will arrive in silver, gold and gray colors for prices of $ 140 for the 16 GB model and $ 172 for the 32 GB model.
