Xigmatek zeus, a pc case inspired by the cougar conquer

The Xigmatek ZEUS is a new and exclusive open design box that is suspiciously reminiscent of the Cougar Conquer. The tower is full of diagonal lines and is even leaning back, which gives it a very striking and modern look when combined with RGB LED lights.

Xigmatek ZEUS offers an open design for your computer with RGB lighting

We found the sloping look of the Cougar Conquer tower, but the facade changes from aluminum to tempered glass, making it easier to highlight the RGB fans that can be installed.

At first glance, this is nothing special. But if we look at it more closely, it is not only a decorative plate, but it goes to the bottom of the box to reach the foot and be fixed there, which should go a long way in reinforcing the structure of the ZEUS. In short, Xigmatek fixes one of the flaws of the original product here, and that's a very good thing.

Otherwise, modifications are minimal, for example with separate PCI brackets and not in a single hole, or revised brackets for storage in the motherboard tray. In doing so, the media changes from a maximum of two 3.5 ″ disks to two 2.5 ″ disks or one 3.5 ″ disk with one 2.5 ″ disk, always with the top plate if necessary.

For cooling, there are three 120mm slots at the front, three at the top, and two at the rear. In air cooling, we will limit ourselves to a 160mm high radiator, while graphics cards should not exceed 320mm in length on seven PCI mounts. The feeding, which takes place at the bottom, should not exceed 200 mm, which leaves a lot of space to choose a model. It is confirmed that there is no vertical support for a graphics card.
