ADATA has introduced its new family of SO-DIMMs for compact notebooks and desktops. XPG Hunter DDR4 SO-DIMMs offer data transfer rates of up to 3000 MT / s and capacities from 8GB to 32GB, allowing typical dual-channel (dual-slot) systems to reach up to 64GB of RAM in total.

ADATA XPG Hunter is a new SO-DIMM memory with up to 32GB capacity

ADATA XPG Hunter DDR4 SO-DIMMs are based on high quality memory chips and PCBs. Like other enthusiast-class memory modules, XPG Hunter SO-DIMMs feature XMP 2.0 SPD profiles to facilitate correct speed settings. In addition, to maximize stability, the modules are equipped with heat dispersers. Thanks to this, it should allow for a good margin of overclocking, which is what performance enthusiasts are looking for.

The XPG Hunter SO-DIMMs are configured to be available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB sizes and will be rated for DDR4-2666 CL18 and DDR4-3000 CL17 at 1.2V. XMP 2.0 support means users have more ways to access memory overclocking, even directly from the operating system rather than through more complex BIOS settings.

ADATA did not announce prices for its XPG Hunter DDR4 memory modules, but considering the fact that we are not dealing with SO-DIMMs designed for extreme PCs, the new modules are unlikely to be particularly expensive. We will keep you informed.
