The preview of android 8.1 oreo for the razer phone is now available

Razer has announced that its Razer Phone will be updated to Android 8.1 Oreo, and that the official update will be available sometime in April. If you don't want to wait, you can already install the previous version.

Currently the Razer Phone works with Android 7.1 Nougat, those users who want to try the update can download the previous version from the developer now. Despite its name, the preview of the update is open to anyone, but it requires some work to install it. Before you start, make sure to back up everything in case something goes wrong so you don't lose all your valuable data. Also note that when the official Oreo 8.1 update arrives, you won't be receiving it via an automatic update if it's on this previous build.
