Asus today announced the launch of the AUS Asus ROG Ryujin line of liquid coolers for the large and powerful AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors with up to 32 processing cores.

Asus ROG Ryujin, new liquid coolers designed specifically for AMD Ryzen Threadripper

Asus ROG Ryujin ranks above the ROG Ryuo series, which was opened to reserves earlier this month. The Ryujin was first exhibited at Computex 2018 in Taipei. These coolers feature a rectangular pump block design that resembles that of the chipset heatsink, but is integrated with a 1.77-inch color OLED display that displays an animated ROG logo by default, but can be reprogrammed to show just about anything like clone logos, live CPU load / temperature monitoring etc. Another innovation the Asus ROG Ryujin sets is a small side fan built into the block, which ASUS says can reduce VRM and M.2 SSD temperatures by as much as 20 ° C.

The Ryujin series comes in two variants, the Ryujin 240 with a 120mm x 240mm radiator, and the Ryujin 360 with a 120mm x 360mm radiator. These are 27mm thick aluminum radiators ventilated with 120mm Noctua IndustrialPPC PWM fans. These fans spin between 450 and 2, 000 RPM, pushing up to 121.8 CFM of air, with a noise level of up to 31 dBA. These new AIO kits only support the AMD TR4 socket, with full coverage for the integrated heat diffuser in AMD Ryzen Threadripper.
