Will the change be worth it? Today we will not be able to see it, but we can present you this new Gigabyte motherboard.

First Impressions Z390 Aorus Master

The new Z390 Aorus Master is presented with the well-known LGA 1151 socket and the new Intel Z390 chipset to host the new Intel Whiskey Lake processors manufactured in 14 nm +++ Tri Gate and that are becoming the new benchmark in high-performance systems at a 'sustainable' price. Avoid buying a high-end motherboard of 400 or 500 euros.

Aorus is characterized by offering the best to users at a sustainable price. This motherboard brings an improved socket, a total of 14 phases with Ultra Durable technology and high-quality chokes. This allows us a greater longevity and a great capacity to perform overclocking. It doesn't look bad, right?

At the power level we have two 8-pin EPS connectors and a 24-pin ATX connector to guarantee an excellent overclock to both the processor and the RAM. Enough for the new Intel Core i9 processors for this platform.

We recommend reading our guide on the best motherboards on the market.

As expected we have a total of 4 DDR4 RAM modules over 4000 MHz with a maximum capacity of 64 GB and in Dual Channel configuration for extraordinary performance in high performance tasks.

For graphics card lovers the Aorus Z390 Master doesn't disappoint with its configuration of three PCI Express x16 connectors for 2 Way SLI / CrossFire and two additional PCI Express x1 connectors for expansion cards.

We also integrate two refrigerated 32 Gb / s M.2 interfaces to have the best possible speed on our high-performance SSDs . As for the other features, we find a network connection, a wireless network card, a wide variety of USB 3.0 / 3.1 connections.

The sound card is not far behind either. We have an audio with a Realtek ALC 1220 chipset with Sound BlasterX 720 support along with an ESS Saber DAC and Japanese capacitors. We do not want to extend much more, since soon you will have the review on the website with the ninth generation processors.

With this we finish the preview of the Z390 Aorus Master motherboard. What do you think of Gigabyte's new top of the range motherboard? Will it be worth it?
