ZOTAC unveils its new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti PGF Edition graphics card, based on the Pascal GP102 chip recently announced by Nvidia. The model featuring ZOTAC comes with three fans, RGB lighting, and good overclocking capabilities according to the manufacturer.

GTX 1080 Ti PGF Edition joins the ZOTAC family

The GTX 1080 Ti graphics chip, the most powerful on the market currently, requires a very good cooling system, as we have already seen in other solutions such as the EVGA FTW3.

GeForce GTX 1080 Ti PGF Edition features a gigantic triple slot with a split aluminum double lamella heatsink and three 100mm fans. Custom RGB lighting could not be missing in this high-end segment, not only on the front but also on the side of the graphics card, to make it look good inside our tower.

This ZOTAC model requires several 8-pin connectors to be powered and from now on we will require a good power supply for all this to work. The VRM looks robust, including a multi-phase capacitor; and support for the ZOTAC OC + external overclocking module.

Almost all of the graphics card assemblers have shown their own custom GTX 1080 Ti solutions, though none has said a price or the date when they will be available in stores.

GTX 1080 Ti is currently the most powerful graphics on the market, at least until AMD puts its next Radeon RX VEGA up for sale that will compete with Nvidia's high-end. We need this to happen in order for prices to drop, as was the case with the launch of Ryzen.
