Zte geek: power with intel heart

That Intel has been far removed from the world of the smartphone does not escape anyone. But like a good processor company, sooner or later it had to get fully into this profitable world. The ZTE Geek has an Intel heart inside.

The Intel Atom Z2580, processor based on Intel Clover Trail +, is in charge of moving this new ZTE model with ease at around 2 GHz. The rest of the specifications are quite positive. 1 GB of RAM, a 1280 x 720 screen, as we see with excellent resolution, behind a Gorilla Glass. The battery reaches 2300 mAh, which is quite interesting.

As for the operating system, the person in charge of giving life to this Intel processor will be Android, specifically in its Jelly Bean version, version 4.2.2, which is currently the latest version released by Google. As for the photographic subject, about 8 megapixels and an LED will do the majority work, complemented by a 2 megapixel camera intended to make video calls and front photos on the front of the phone

Speaking of design, it stands out the back in white and the front in black. A design, from my point of view not very striking, which reveals a generous screen. Something to comment is that the Intel seal is engraved on the bottom of the back. It is a tradition of Intel to remember who made the processor, except for the Mac, where we will never see a sticker or engraving. This simple detail can displease more than one, although perhaps the one who buys this phone does not look for excessive design in it.

One more smartphone, actually intended for technology enthusiasts, especially if we rely on its name. Its availability for now is unknown as well as its release date and price. An important point is that it was a winner against the all-powerful Samsung Galaxy S4.
