A10 7890k, new amd steamroller apu
AMD has given yet another twist to its already veteran FM2 + platform with the launch of the new APU A10 7890K based on the 28nm Steamroller microarchitecture and GCN graphics.
The A10 7890K APU is the most powerful APU manufactured by AMD thanks to its configuration of two Steamroller modules (4 cores) at frequencies of 4.1 GHz in base mode and 4.3 GHz in turbo mode along with 4 MB of L3 cache. Along with this we find an integrated GPU based on the GCN architecture and consisting of 512 shader processors at 900 MHz. The A10 7890K APU features an unlocked multiplier to allow for easier overclocking.
Its features are completed with a maximum TDP of 95W and will be accompanied by the new AMD Wraith heatsink.
