Acer iconia one 8 with 8-inch screen and an app for children
Along with the Liquid Jade Primo, the 8-inch Acer Iconia One 8 tablet has been presented that offers a wide performance for web browsing, video playback and casual games, as well as including the Acer Kids Center app for a simple interface for beginners and controls parental.
The Acer Iconia One 8 features an 8-inch IPS HD display with 10 touch points to deliver good image quality while taking care of the performance of its quad-core MediaTek processor. Along with the processor we find 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage expandable by up to an additional 128 GB. It works with the Android 5.1 operating system and has a battery that offers up to 9 hours of autonomy. Its specifications are completed by a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
The Acer Iconia One 8 comes preloaded with the Kids Center app with a simplified user interface, ideal for beginners and preset content suitable for children, including videos, games, books and websites. It also includes parental control functions such as blocking access to inappropriate content, preselected content for children or even daily limits on tablet usage time.
The new Iconia One 8 will be available throughout January for a price of 129 euros with the back covers in white or blue.
