Acer unveils new ultra-thin, all-in gaming laptops

Innovative advanced temperature control systems such as the new AeroBlade ™ 3D metal fan have enabled the ultrathin range of Predator Triton 700 gaming notebooks to be developed without compromising performance, while the patented LiquidLoop ™ fanless cooling system has enabled both Powerful 2-in-1 Switch 5 convertible as the Aspire U27 all-in-one works quietly while maintaining its slim design.

In addition, Acer has held the first public demonstration of Windows Virtual Reality with the Acer Windows Mixed Reality virtual reality glasses, which provide the user with an experience that fuses the real world with the digital one. StarVR virtual reality goggles include industry leading image resolution and a field of view similar to natural vision. Attendees enjoyed an ultra-immersive experience with virtual reality gameplay of John Wick Chronicles through its realistic rifles and full tracking of its movements.

Merge the physical and digital world with Windows Mixed Reality

Joining Acer on stage, Virtual Reality pioneer and Director of the Windows Mixed Reality Orientation Program at Microsoft, Mark Bolas, taught the public this platform that fuses the real and digital worlds to create new spaces.

In these spaces, the digital and the physical coexist and interact with each other to develop a new way of taking advantage of technology. By combining these two universes, using bits and digital reasoning, they make this technology no longer linked to computers, mobile phones or television screens as before.

Acer has worked with Microsoft to introduce the first Windows Mixed Reality kits in March, helping developers realize the potential of the Windows Mixed Reality platform. Developers are already working hard to further enrich the Acer VR experience for when they become available to users and professionals later this year.

Predator range expands with new gaming notebooks and quantum dot monitors

As Acer's main objective is innovation in its systems and technologies, it has increased its line of Predator gaming laptops with an eye on the great potential of the video game market. The company has focused on new ways to manage equipment temperatures to push its equipment hardware to the limit, so new Acer AeroBlade 3D fans have been introduced to the new series of Predator Triton ultra-thin gaming notebooks and in the Predator Helios range.

The first team in the new ultra-thin Predator lineup, the Pred ator Triton 700 brings together a seventh-generation Intel® Core ™ processor and the latest NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 10-Series graphics card within a single 18mm aluminum chassis of height, thanks to its two 3D AeroBlade metal fans that increase airflow by 35%, taking up less computer space.

As the world leader in gaming monitors, Acer has also introduced the Predator X27 that takes the gaming experience to a new level thanks to NVIDIA G-SYNC ™ HDR graphics and Acer HDR Ultra ™ technology. Leveraging Quantum Dot technology, Predator X27 offers a wide color gamut with higher brightness, deeper saturation, and better precision for more dramatic visual effects.

Acer also announced that starting in May, its Aspire GX desktops will be available with powerful new AMD Ryzen ™ 7 1700X processors capable of supporting highly graphic content tasks for smoother gameplay.

LiquidLoop cooling system silenced convertibles, and now all-in-ones too

Following a great reception from Switch Alpha 12, what was Acer's first 2-in-1 convertible equipped with the innovative LiquidLooop ™ cooling system, the company has launched the new Acer Switch 5. Like its predecessor, this 2-in-1 notebook features a powerful Intel® Core ™ processor that works without fans. Acer has also used this fanless technology and created the quiet, ultra-slim, all-in-one Aspire U27, which won the iF Design Award in 2007.

The Acer H7850 and V7850 projectors feature 4K High Definition (UHD) resolution and HDR compatibility to deliver exceptional experience and performance for audio and video lovers.
