Acer announces three new eighth-generation Chrome OS devices. This includes two new Chromebook models and a compact Chromebox. They are all using the latest generation Intel Celeron and Pentium processors .

Acer Chromebox CXI3

The new Acer Chromebox CXI3 seems to be a small magic box that can be placed flat if the user wishes or mounted behind a screen. In terms of connectivity, it has three USB ports on the back and two on the front. Also, a USB-C connector on the rear IO as well. The display output comes through a single HDMI port and there is also a Gigabit Ethernet port available.

Acer Chromebook 11 C732

The new Chromebook 11 C732 appears to be a hybrid laptop that can be used as both a notebook and a Tablet PC. It has IP41 dust and water resistance, with MIL-STD 810G certification against drops of up to four feet.

It also has a non-spill keyboard with liquid drainage system. Inside we have an Intel Celeron dual-core N3350 processor or we can also choose an Apollo Lake N3450, with storage options of 16, 32 or 64 GB. The battery is 12 hours.

It will cost $ 299 and launches in March.

Acer Chromebook Spin 11

The Chromebook Spin 11 is a somewhat more advanced (and more expensive) model than the C732. You can use an Apollo Lake Celeron N3350 and N3450 processor, or a quad-core Pentium N4200. In terms of RAM, a 4 or 8GB LPDDR4 option is available.

Storage can be 32 or 64GB. What makes this notebook stand out is the use of Wacom electromagnetic resonance technology for the touch pen experience. This allows users to use any pencil as if you were writing on paper.

The Spin 11 starts will be available for $ 349 and will be available in March.
