Acer presents planet9, its next e-sports platform

Acer leaves us with one last novelty in its presentation at IFA 2019. The company today unveiled Planet9, a next-gen e-sports platform. Planet9 is an open community that allows you to create a team, practice until you are the best and achieve victory. It is currently in closed beta phase, and will enter open beta on January 30, 2020. This platform combines everything that competitive and casual players need to level up and participate in e-sports below the professional level..

This platform will provide information to complete the experience of players around the world. In addition, it will make it easier for amateur and casual players to participate in e-sports; allowing them to learn from the professionals, learn about their strengths and weaknesses, connect with other players in the community and participate in online tournaments.

The community is the foundation of Planet9 and allows players to meet and group with other users who are on their way. They can add friends, follow the people they are interested in, and always receive recommendations on who they can play with based on the title played and complementary skills.

The idea of ​​Acer is that the talent of each user will be developed. So Planet9 offers a number of features to help players improve their skills. Among the functions that have been thought for this, are the following:

• Coach: The Coach function allows users to learn from professional and expert players. Users can select their ideal coach based on game statistics, language or score, and hourly rate. They will be able to stay in touch through video / voice chat and VOD (video on demand) functions and thus reproduce moments to improve.Carry: users can work together with like-minded players to level up while learning and improving their skills during the Process - Game Statistics - All user game statistics are presented on a striking graphical dashboard. Scrims: Planet9 offers ways to practice or participate on the battlefields, either with the clan (team) or the tribe (consisting of several clans). Players wishing to participate in the closed beta can register at planet9.gg starting September 4, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. (CEST). Acer has confirmed that the open beta arrives in January 2020. We do not currently have a specific launch date for this platform.
