ADATA believes that Mini-ITX motherboards need some color and liveliness, that's why I announce the Spectrix D60RGB DDR4 SO-DIMM modules with LED lighting, one of the first to have this type of lighting in a small format.

ADATA SO-DIMM Spectrix D60RGB DDR4

Spectrix D60RGB DDR4 allow speeds of up to 4600 MHz under a color heatsink. SO-DIMM memories are smaller than regular modules and are excellent for small-format PCs, also originally created for notebook PCs.

ADATA is planning to make it to CES 2018 by introducing these RGB-lit DDR4 SO-DIMMs for the first time, in addition to other exciting products.

SX8200 M.2 SSD with NGSFF format

One of those products is going to be the SX8200 SSD that comes in M.2 format. On paper, the SX8200 M.2 looks like an update to the SX6000 that is currently on the market. Encouraged by support for the latest NVMe 1.3 standard and 64-layer NAND 3D, the SX8200 offers sequential read speeds of up to 3, 200 MB / s and write speeds of up to 1, 700 MB / s.

This unit uses the new format proposed by Samsung called “Next Generation Small Form Factor” (NGSFF) which uses the same connector as M.2 units, but is 8.5 mm wider and 0.5 mm thicker, this additional space allows a greater storage capacity and also that the unit is hot-swappable.

We will have to wait for CES 2018 to learn more details about these two products, especially their price and release date.
